Issue:
- Users are not able to edit Stoplight Projects, defined as projects that are not connected to a repository or version control system, and data is stored in the Stoplight database, and they may see the following error:
Error Activating Project. Check developer console for more info.
Environment:
- Web (only Stoplight Projects are affected)
Workaround:
Our team is actively working on resolving this but please note that this is an ongoing issue with intermittent outages. Updates will be posted regularly on our Status Page.
This issue is only impacting Stoplight Projects and the current workarounds include the usage of Git Projects or Studio Desktop. We recommend exporting your project files first if possible but if you are not able to wait for access to your project please reach out to support@stoplight.io for assistance.
Git Project
- Create a blank Git Project
- Import your project files
Studio Desktop
- Download Studio Desktop
- Create a New Local Project
- Import your project files
- We recommend working locally and importing the project files back to a Stoplight Project at a later time.
- If the documentation needs to be published you may use a CLI project but please note that there are certain limitations.
